Just when you think that travelling just now cannot get more stressful, Ryanair cabin crew have announced they will go on strike for six days in July. Thankfully, this will be their Spanish crew and dates are set to be 24th, 25th, 26th, and 30th June and on 1st and 2nd July. The action is being taken amid the discontent of working conditions and pay. While UK cabin staff have not announced a strike, the industrial action could impact Brits flying to Spain this summer.
The labour organizations say they’re coordinating with five more unions in Belgium, France, Italy, and Portugal to organise continental-wide protests if Europe’s largest low-cost carrier refuses to negotiate.
Fingers crossed negotiations are made, and that doesn’t happen!
