Skyscanner is such a huge swear word to us Travel Agents! So, let us get this elephant in the room dealt with! Sky scanner is a great tool for checking routes, and which airlines fly where etc, but only for this purpose.
Prices on Skyscanner are not live prices, and generally will direct you to a non-UK website. Which means that financial protection is non-existent.
Furthermore, they will give you connections that are not necessarily valid thus if a connection is missed, the airline is not obliged to put you on the next service free of charge.
An example of this is also putting 2 conflicting low cost carries on the one route (easyJet connecting with Ryanair with only 1.5 hours connecting) erm no...not going to work!
